Welcome to Hot Gnu Creative, web home of Tom Chmielewski: copywriter, voice talent and semi-organic gardener. After years of paying my dues (and no mean number of parking tickets) at large-city ad agencies, I relocated my reluctant family to a remote mountainside near Asheville, North Carolina. Almost immediately, I seemed to experience an increase in cognitive function along with a rather stunning rejuvenation in work ethic. Is it the fresh mountain air? The spring water? The home-grown collards? I make no claims. Let’s just say that if you’re facing a particularly vexing creative challenge, you might want to “turn me loose on it,” as the folks around here might say.
